We had the pleasure of being involved in this project; a unique, contemporary, low carbon single storey extension constructed using Structural Insulated Panels, with Brimstone Ash cladding to the exterior.
We made numerous adjustments to the existing house including steelwork, demolition and doorway alterations to accommodate the extension. The internal was plaster boarded throughout and we installed a beautiful engineered oak wood flooring over a screed base, complete with underfloor heating.
A new oak staircase with glass panelling was designed and fitted, including under-stairs wine storage and a central island was added to the kitchen complete with sleek induction hob and a stylish hidden downdraft extractor.
Full width sliding doors were installed opening to the garden, with concealed motorised blinds for privacy at night and the extension also included Velux roof lights. The result is a stunning, light and airy space that has transformed the home and that the client is thrilled with.
