This was a two storey side extension to a property. We had to demolish the garage and safely dispose of a large quantity of asbestos. We needed to knock through into the existing property, install new roof tiles and windows and upgrade the water supply as the new water pressure required a larger pipe.
The new space we created allowed room for a downstairs snug, bathroom and utility space. Upstairs we built a master bedroom and ensuite. Due to delays caused by Brexit and Covid, the client’s budget had to change and we worked with them to help them understand their priorities so we could make adjustments whilst making sure they didn’t feel they were losing out. The client was delighted with the outcome and have told us that it has really enhanced the way they use their home.
